Scout
Scout may look squishy and weak. However, after hours of playing scout, I have found that his damage output in close range battles is higher than most classes. Two burst from his scattergun at point blank range can net him a kill easily. I like scout very much due to his movement speed and doubled capture rate, which greatly benefits the team, especially in payload and control point.

Tips:

-Don't get brainwashed by the scout trailer. Scout runs very fast, but not fast enough to dodge bullets. Me myself plays heavy and meet scouts that try to outrun me by speed every game, which dies tragically on the battlefield. If you are noticed by your enemies, do not try to rush in and strike them, because once you are seen, they will keep an eye on you, a squishy scout.

-Don't work on an team objectives alone. A common example is that a scout push the bomb cart alone on payload. A scout work best with a team covering him while he is doing objectives as scout work on them twice as fast than other classes (Game logic, meh...). Progress alone is like suicide as you have no way to beat a group of enemies (If you really can beat them alone, you wouldn't be here in the first place). To win a game or complete an objective, the scout together with the whole team should create a 'wave' to push the front line. So being a scout, you should wait for your team members to group with you and attack together.

-Be a guerilla. Aside from completing game objectives, you can assist your team in team fights. Look for an vantage point around the main battlefield, use a pistol instead of shotgun if you have one (reserve shotgun ammo for close range battles). Move frequently as snipers can gun down you if you stand still for too long. Don't focus on getting kills. Dealing stable damage to enemy team in team fights can provide your team with a subtle, but huge advantage.

My Builds:

Force A Nature + Flying Guillotine + Sandman

This build is for aggressive and skillful players to use as you must be excellent at aiming. This build focus more on getting kills in 1v1 situations instead of supporting your team. For distant enemies, sandman them first, then use flying guillotine on them if they get stunned. If you fail to hit them with the baseball, rush in and double jump around them while putting two shots on them. They probably can't hit you as double jump + shotgun push is really distractive. But don't try this on full health soldier/heavy in case you can't stun them as they may still survive even you completed this combo.

Soda Popper + Mad Milk + Fan O War / Boston Basher

This build is for supportive scouts, especially in team fights. It will be much harder for you to finish off enemies all by yourself, but your teammates can help you to do so a lot easier with this build. When waiting for a team fight you should put all your effort on doing objectives with your teammates. During a team fight, try to get on the roof of buildings using the soda popper's boost. And when the main group of enemies are below you, jump off and throw mad milk at them when you are falling. If you use Fan O War, hit the tanky enemies first (Soldier/Heavy), then deal as much damage as you do before you die. If you use Boston Basher, hit as many enemies as you can. Turning their screen into red can be a huge distraction that can turn the tide of a team fight. Most importantly, you are a scout that sacrifice yourself for your team in this build. Don't expect to survive during battles, just drag as many enemies to bury with you as possible.

Shortstop + Mad Milk + Candy Cane

This is a full support build for scout, making the whole team sustain longer in team fights, but at the cost of unable to ambush enemies for scout, as the enemies can widen their gap between you quickly by weapon push force. Shortstop's healing, high fire rate, and clip-based reload make it the best weapon for scout in mid range team fights. It's DPS is actually higher due to the overall fire rate. Mad milk or other drinks are preferred as shortstop use the same ammo pool with pistols, and I think using mad milk instead of soft drinks is better for the whole team. And candy cane heal your team furthermore, but make sure your team is advancing so that enemies can't use those health pack. And scout can dodge explosives easily so the drawback of candy cane is not a big problem.
